Home inspectors evaluate new or previously owned houses to determine the condition of the home’s systems and structure. They often work for prospective home buyers who want to know about potential problems in advance. You would be examining structural quality, home systems and features including roofing, exterior, attached garage or carport, foundation, interior, plumbing, electrical, and heating and cooling systems. This is a physically demanding job and will require the inspector to work outside in all elements, move through small spaces, walk on roofs, and get from one location to another quickly/efficiently.
